Newsroom Planner is one of our latest apps available in Dashboard. Newsroom Planner provides resource planning that can be shared within the whole organization.
Gota Media, a Swedish media house focusing on local news, is the first to get started with Newsroom Planner. The Newsroom Planner immediately addressed one of Gota's major challenges caused by the coronavirus shutdown: The need to access plans shared across its newsrooms.
In Newsroom Planner you can easily plan stories and create necessary assignments for reporters, photos, graphics and more.
As a reporter or photographer, you can use a separate view to see only your assignments. In your personal view, you can access what you need to be able to produce and contribute according to plan. You ca also create new articles or new assignments.
Depending on the type of assignment, the links will guide you to the necessary tool. If you are assigned to a Photo assignment, the assignment will have shortcuts to Naviga Photos for uploading images, or linking images from the repository.
As a reporter, you'll have the photo assignment information readily accessible — no need to search other places for the pictures. All the images are connected to the plan and at your fingertips.
